However, looking outside the franchise the game plays similarly to titles such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Sniper Ghost Warrior and Hitman: Sniper to name a few. This game plays much like any of the games within the Sniper Elite series. The Sniper Elite series is one such franchise that casts a spotlight on these soldiers and Sniper Elite 3 was the 2014 title that aimed to raise the stakes again. However, only a small selection of titles have focused solely on the soldiers miles from the action picking off targets and defying physics with their feats of accuracy. With reference to the FPS genre as a whole, there has always been a romantic relationship with the super soldier capable of storming bases single handedly and winning the war with just a trusty rifle and a handful of grenades.
